A wonderful work by an Englishman who not only lived through and participated in World War 2, but also became a master at modeling that world. Roy Porter shows you all his tricks, such as creating your own molds, building ruins, detailing and weathering, and subject selection. The book is full of great color photos, and includes many step-by-step guides on the various projects. You will get a lot of great ideas from this book. The book is handsome, well written, and highly informative. Overall, quite enjoyable, and certainly one of the best diorama building books.
